Sharon Johnson

She was born in Leon County March 14, 1953, the first child born to the late Cornelius and Gladys Duhart. She has been a widow since 2007 when her husband Elder Larry L. Johnson went to be with the Lord. Together God blessed them with three adult children and three grandchildren.

Sharon received her education in the Leon County School system with two years of college at Florida A&M University. In 1984, our family moved to Milwaukee, WI where I was employed as an Insurance Representative, until returning back to Florida in 1998. At that time I worked for the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association for three years then became the Executive Staff Assistant for Elder Affairs Care where I am currently employed.

Sharon’s passion and commitment to helping make the community a better place has lead her into the position of former Interim Pastor at Macedonia M.B. Church which she served for 5 years. She is a leader and has devoted herself to the betterment of people through the spiritual and educational process. Sharon assists the pastor, visits the sick, feeds the hungry, provides counseling, teaches Sunday School and other assignments whenever needed.

Sharon has had the honor and privilege to serve on The Lenora Paschal Johnson Foundation since 2012.

I am truly excited about what GOD has done and is doing in my life. To Him I give all the Glory.
