La’Shanda Johnson-Jones

La’Shanda Johnson-Jones was born and currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida. She has over fifteen (15) years of work experience in the private sector dealing with training, teaching computer skills and administrative duties. She is currently the Ethics Investigator/Special Projects Manager for the Florida Certification Board. Prior to her current position she worked as a Computer Instructor/Job Placement coordinator for Goodwill Industries Big Bend. She graduated with a Computer Graphic Degree from Keiser University, continuing with her studies she has also received her BS degree from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University (FAMU) in Graphic Communications and her most recent accomplishment is graduating from Ashford University on the Dean’s list where she has obtained her Master’s in Business, and a Minor in Leadership.

As La’Shanda’s career has advanced she has been awarded numerous awards and scholarships. She currently serves as the Youth and Young Adult President of Mt. Bethlehem P.B. Church for the last 7 years showing her dedication and commitment to serving and helping the youth. She teaches Sunday School, assist with bible study, holds weekly tutoring sessions when needed and coordinates all programs and invites. Yearly LaShanda holds a bookbag drive, feeds the homeless and provide toiletries donations several times throughout the year but mainly during Christmas participates in bringing joy to the patients faces at Miracle Hill Nursing Home where she has coordinated the opportunity for the Youth and Young adults to sing Christmas Caroles.

Since serving on the Board of The Lenora Paschal Johnson Foundation since 2012 it has gained me a bigger insight of the meaning of giving back.

La’Shanda’s determination and will to continue on this successful path is led by God and knowing that “I can do ALL things through Christ which strengthen me”, Philippians 4:13”

La’Shanda has 3 children, oldest Demetria Farmer (from previous marriage), 23 years old currently serves in the military, William Farmer, 18 year old senior in high school and Jazlyne Farmer, 11 year old 6th grader in middle school.
